Lamaze classes and birth doula support are each associated with better birth outcomes. This bundle provides the benefits of both together!
Lamaze Childbirth Classes are based on the Six Healthy Birth Practices:
- Let labor begin on its own.
- Walk, move around, and change positions throughout labor.
- Bring a loved one, friend, or doula for continuous support.
- Avoid interventions that are not medically necessary.
- Avoid giving birth on your back, and follow your body’s urge to push.
- Keep your baby with you – it’s best for you, your baby, and breastfeeding.
Classes are 12 + hours of comprehensive group Lamaze Classes: From healthy pregnancy, what to expect in labor, comfort measures, stages and phases of labor, introduction to postpartum recovery, newborn care, and breastfeeding/feeding your baby
